The event was a huge success. Pledges were raised by 79 students during
a four week campaign, following the kickoff.
The expenses for hosting the bike ride were minimal and on the day of
the big event, our small k-8 school had raised roughly $23,000 in cash
donations from the community and local businesses as well as a few thousand dollars
of in-kind donations, food, beverages, services and prizes.
It was apparent that event based fundraising was a
real winner. With the right tools and
resources any group can host a successful fundraising event. But first, we needed to provide a

with a proven step-by-step guide and an online event/campaign management
system, we had a recipe for a successful fundraising program!

of the proceeds after expenses.
